Symposium Program

The week will be filled with instructional workshops such as Serious Accident Investigation, both topside and underwater; wilderness first aid;  human factors workshops; diving workshops covering rescue techniques, scientific snorkeling, and managing divers with acoustics; drift diving with reef fish, near shore benthic surveys and investigating octopi; and much more! Following the workshop opportunities and social/networking events, we will wrap up the week with the national DSO meeting, science symposium, and annual awards banquet.

Networking Opportunities

Bubble Breaker
Wednesday, April 17

Sailfish Brewery, Downtown Fort Pierce

The main fundraising event for the AAUS Foundation, the Bubble Breaker, is held annually to support student scholarships and internships. The event typically employs a mix of fundraising strategies, including silent auctions, live auctions, and raffles to raise money. Join us to debut the AAUS brew at this fun-filled event and win amazing dive gear, local products, and trips, all for a great cause! This event is included for: full symposium attendees and DSO meeting attendees (no additional registration required). Tickets must be purchased for workshop only attendees, day-pass registrants, students, and anyone who wishes to bring a guest.
