Lodging

This year our meeting will be split between Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute (located between Ft Pierce and Vero Beach, FL) and downtown Fort Pierce, Florida.  Many, but not all, of the early week workshops, the DSO Orientation and the DSO/Business meeting will be held at HBOI. The Bubblebreaker,  Friday science talks, Friday evening banquet and Saturday programming will be held in Downtown Ft Pierce. 

Due to the split nature of this meeting, instead of a large room block as we have done in previous meetings, we do have two small room blocks available; one closer to HBOI in Vero Beach, FL and one closer to downtown Fort Pierce.  We will be providing transportation from both of these hotel locations daily on a set schedule (not on demand and not all day every day).  Additional transportation will be provided from the SI marine station for some workshops/meetings. If you have your own transportation,  we also encourage you to book the lodging of your choice in and around either of these locations.  This allows you to have many options based on your price and desired amenities, but it does require that you book early! 

Options to consider OUTSIDE of our room blocks: Hutchinson Island Plaza  and Dockside Inn  as well as a pleather of Air BnBs and VRBOs in the area.

There is ample parking downtown and at HBOI.
