Mary G. Jameson Foundation Partnership for 2026
The AAUS Foundation and the Mary G. Jameson Foundation are pleased to announce a new partnership to support the next generation of diving scientists through the addition of
two graduate student scholarships for 2026.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing underwater science and providing meaningful educational opportunities for graduate students whose research depends on the safe and effective use of scientific diving. The scholarships are intended to reduce financial barriers and help promising students focus on advancing research that contributes to ocean science, environmental stewardship, conservation, and related disciplines.
By investing in graduate students who combine academic rigor with professional diving training, the AAUS Foundation and the Mary G. Jameson Foundation aim to strengthen the future of scientific diving and the research communities it supports.
These graduate scholarships will be administered through the AAUS Foundation under its current scholarship program by adding one additional PhD and one additional Masters recipient at the $3K award level to those already awarded by AAUSF.
Applications are open now through June 30, 2026 at
